Our diverse animal kingdom, which includes goats, sheep, cats, geese, chickens, turkeys, and rabbits, serves as both a showcase and a hands-on learning environment for the breeding, feeding, housing, veterinary care, and general welfare practices of these animals, including milking and dairy farming.
The flocks of our purebred dairy goats, specifically the SAANEN breed, as well as our sheep of the ASSAF and Chiou breeds, have been established since 2007. Our ongoing objective is to enhance their phenotypic and production characteristics using natural methods.
Currently, our farm is home to 150 dairy goats and sheep, catering to both dairy and meat production. Our dedicated daily care ensures optimal conditions for the animals’ well-being.
Adjacent to the holding areas for sheep and goats, visitors have the opportunity to observe our state-of-the-art milking parlour equipped with automated milking technology.
The majority of the raw milk we produce is transported to our cheese dairy for the manufacturing of our dairy products. The remaining portion is sold to another licensed dairy in Cyprus.
In addition to our diverse animal population, our farm is also home to three donkeys, with the youngest of the three being born on the farm in 2024. We have set aside a designated area for the farm’s cattery.
Furthermore, you’ll find a substantial population of freely roaming chickens, turkeys, and geese in our orchards.
